Connect to the COM port of the Solis inverter with a logger.

If you are working with a LAN dongle or WiFi dongle, you can read the inverter via modbus TCP.

Connect a data logger or smartgrid controller to enable monitoring and control capabilities.

Please keep in hand your Data Loggers serial number. It should be starting for 7A to enable Modbus communication. If the S/N starts from 5A, the connection will not work.

The current stable version of the Solis Data Loggers does not support Modbus Communication. In order to enable Modbus Communication, please contact Solis Support and ask Modbus TCP and Remote Dispatch to be enabled.
